More than 1.5 thousand Sevastopol doctors receive a special social payment

CrimeaPRESS reports:

This year, a new support measure was introduced for medical workers — a special social payment. Thus, since the beginning of 2023, the Sevastopol branch of the Social Fund has assigned payments to 1,909 health workers, and the total amount of transfers amounted to more than 94 million rubles.

This measure of social support is provided to medical employees of primary health care, central district and district hospitals, as well as employees of emergency stations and departments. From July 1, the Government of the Russian Federation expanded the list of health workers who are assigned a special social payment. According to the changes*, now medical workers with higher (non-medical) education will also receive it. The amount of payments depends on the category of specialist, type of organization and varies from 4.5 to 18.5 thousand rubles,” noted the department’s press service.

Payments to health workers are made based on data from medical organizations. Based on the results of each month, they create an electronic register of employees entitled to receive additional payments and transmit this information to the SFR Branch in Sevastopol. The register, along with information about the employee, also indicates the amount of special social benefits and the data on which it is calculated.

Health workers do not need to contact the Sevastopol Branch of the Social Fund, submit applications or certificates. Funds are transferred within 7 working days to accounts, the details of which are also submitted by medical institutions to the regional Branch of the SFR.
