More than 1,600 families of Sevastopol have issued an allowance for a third or subsequent children

Sevastopol families at the birth of a third child or subsequent children are entitled to a monthly allowance. It is paid until the child reaches the age of three years in an amount equal to the subsistence minimum on the date of application. Currently, it is 14 665 rubles. The payment is already received by 1 673 families living in Sevastopol. The Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population emphasized that the allowance is issued for both the third and all subsequent children, and not just for one of them, as in some other regions of the country.

The main condition for granting a regional payment is permanent residence in Sevastopol. Another difference from other payments: the allowance is assigned immediately for the entire period in the amount of the subsistence minimum that was in effect on the date of application. The criterion of need for payment is 2.5 living wages. The payment itself requires annual confirmation: one year and two after the first application , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the social security department of the relevant department, Evgenia Pytko.

This year, the conditions for applying for the grant have changed. If earlier the payment for the third and subsequent children was provided only if the age of the older children did not exceed 18 years, and in the case of their education on the budget — 14 years, now families in which the eldest child has already reached the age of majority can apply for support.

You can apply for benefits through the district departments of labor and social protection of the population, as well as branches of the MFC. It is also possible to apply for payment through the public services portal , says Evgenia Pytko.
