Most parents in Crimea do not know the passwords to their teenage children's phones

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Parents of primary school students most often know the password to their children’s smartphones, while parents of teenagers do not. In a survey by a service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob respondents with children aged 6–17 took part in the survey.

In Crimea, most parents of both boys (77%) and girls (79%) aged 6 to 11 years know what password is set on their child’s smartphone, and some have protection disabled altogether or the child uses a push-button phone. 23% of parents of sons and 21% of parents of daughters do not know the password to their child’s device.

The older the child gets, the more often parents claim that they do not know the password to their gadget. Thus, 56% of parents of sons and 52% of parents of daughters aged 12-14 do not know the password. And if the child is over 15, this figure reaches 70% and 84%, respectively.

Interestingly, daughters are supervised slightly more often at the age of 6-11 years, and sons — in adolescence.
