In the Starokrymsk district hospital named after academician N.M. Amosov, two units of new medical equipment were installed. This is an X-ray room and an endoscopic imaging system. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
As Ruslan Taushkanov, acting chief physician of the hospital, said, an X-ray room began to work in the clinic of the institution. A major overhaul of the premises was specially carried out for the installation of a digital diagnostic X-ray complex.
The launch of this equipment made it possible to resume full-fledged work of the X-ray room and, as a result, to ensure the timely execution of diagnostic images for various injuries and diseases in good digital quality, which in turn will improve the quality of medical care to the population. Financing for the purchase of equipment and overhaul of the premises was allocated within the framework of the departmental target program «Modernization of healthcare institutions in order to bring them up to federal standards and regulations.» The total cost of the work is 16.5 million rubles— said the head of the medical institution.
In addition, the hospital purchased an endoscopic imaging system with a set of devices and instruments worth more than 8.6 million rubles at the expense of the normalized insurance stock. The equipment is installed in the operating block of the surgical department.
Thanks to the purchase of this complex, now in the Starokrymsk district hospital named after Academician N.M. Amosov, it became possible to carry out a number of surgical interventions that had not previously been performed in a medical organization. This is a diagnostic laparoscopy with drainage of the abdominal cavity; laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomy, laparoscopic hernioplasty, diaphragmatic hernia treatment and so on. Such surgical interventions are already successfully carried out on the basis of the hospital. The advantage of performing operations using the endoscopic imaging system is the low risk of complications, low traumatic technique and, as a result, a short period of rehabilitation in the postoperative period.
