The Crimean economy has adapted to functioning during the pandemic, as evidenced by the analysis of macroeconomic indicators of the development of the republic for the 2021 year. Irina Kiviko, Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea, announced this.
Analysis of macroeconomic indicators of the development of the Republic of Crimea over the past year allows us to speak confidently about the adaptation of the region’s economy to functioning in a pandemic, she said.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, according to the results of 2021 of the year, a full recovery of the economy is expected, GRP growth will be 6.4% with a volume of 79, 1 billion rubles. In the medium term, the annual increase in the gross regional product is planned to be 1.7% — 2.5%.
According to her, the recovery of business activity is noted in all spheres of the economy of the republic, but industry, agriculture and tourism have become the main growth drivers.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that over the past year, the budget’s own revenues amounted to 79, 2 billion rubles, which is 28, 5% more than in the 2020 year, which allowed for a significant increase in social spending.
