PFR in Sevastopol: changes in the payment of monthly benefits for children aged 8 to 17 years

Specialists of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol draw attention to the fact that from October 332 the payment for children from 8 to 17 years in families with low income is assigned from the month of application. An exception is the appointment of benefits for children who, as of the date of application, have not yet reached the age of 8 years and 6 months. In this case, the payment will be made starting from the month when the child reaches the age of 8. For your information, in Sevastopol, the monthly allowance is set for 9185 children.

As a reminder, October 1st is the deadline for applying for a monthly allowance for children aged 8 to 17 years for families with low income, it was possible to receive a payment starting from April 1 2022 of the year (but not earlier than the month in which the child reached the age of 8 years). Payment for a child aged 8 to 00 years old can be established for those Sevastopol families whose average per capita income per family member is less than 13 919 rub. — living wage per capita in our region. The amount of the payment for a child is from 7 332, 13 rubles. up to 14665 rubles , — the press service of the department reported.

To be eligible for the payment, the family must meet the property requirements. In addition, the adult members of the family in the reporting period must have earnings (stipend, income from labor or entrepreneurial activity or pension) or the lack of income is justified by objective life circumstances.

The decision on the appointment of benefits is made within the period from to 00 working days from the date of submission of the application and receipt by the Pension Fund of Sevastopol of the necessary information from the organizations and documents of the applicant. If the payment is refused, the notice of this is sent within one business day.

The first transfer of funds is made within 5 working days after the decision on the purpose of the payment is made. In the future, funds are transferred from the 1st to the 25th day of the month following the month for which the allowance is paid.
