Sevastopol city exercise «Good morning!» — among the ideas at the All-Russian forum
Until May 21, residents of all of Russia can submit their initiative to the Strong Ideas for the New Times forum. Proposals are accepted to improve various areas of life: social, technological, entrepreneurial and others. Sevastopol residents have already sent more than 60 ideas, one of them is the city-wide exercise “Happy Morning!”.
There are projects in Sevastopol that have been benefiting the residents of the Hero City for more than a year. The format of the forum allows you to talk about these ideas throughout the country and support the most popular and relevant today. And I am proud of the people of Sevastopol, who were not afraid and sent their initiatives. Already now it is a great contribution to the development of the whole country.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department of economic development Denis Profatilov.
Citywide exercises «Good Morning!» have been held in Sevastopol since 2019. During this time, the number of classes per year has increased by almost seven times: the project started with 64 events — in 2022 there were 447. In addition, before trainings were held once a week, now they are twice, instead of four sites now there are ten.
It is difficult to attract people to physical education. There is no awareness, understanding that it is important and useful to engage in physical culture. When a person understands this, he prioritizes classes, finds time for what is important, and begins to involve his environment. We set ourselves the main goal to involve people who have not previously been involved in physical culture and sports. Already now, the participants of the exercise have begun to participate in the «Cross of the Nation», «Race», Walking Day, Athlete’s Day, buy subscriptions to fitness clubs, — notes the head of the project «Sevastopol city-wide exercise» Happy morning! Alla Babich.
Everyone on the platform can send their proposal to the forum «Strong ideas for a new time»
As a reminder, more than 11,500 decisions in all six areas have been submitted to the Strong Ideas for a New Time forum.
