The only hardware and software multimedia complex in Crimea for remotely controlled rehabilitation, as well as stabilometric equipment for diagnosing the state of balance functions, walking simulators, CMW therapy and pneumomassage devices and other modern equipment appeared in the medical rehabilitation department of the city hospital No. 9.
The new devices were purchased under the “Optimal Medical Rehabilitation for Health Recovery” program and are intended to help patients who have suffered injuries, as well as those undergoing postoperative and post-covid rehabilitation , the press service of the Government of Sevastopol reported. .
The equipment is designed to restore the motor functions of the upper and lower extremities, the violation of which is the most common. It adapts to the specific patient, taking into account his individual characteristics. This allows you to start exercising early in your recovery and continue until your recovery.
The Devirta virtual reality complex consists of several programs and imitates the movements of the arms and shoulders, as well as the legs. The exercises have different levels of difficulty and are conducted in the format of a computer game. Thanks to the possibility of individual adaptation, classes on the interactive system allow achieving very good results , says Olga Biteikina, a physiotherapy doctor.
The rehabilitation course is designed for 14 days and is carried out according to the CHI system. A referral can be obtained from the attending physician for medical reasons.
