Sevastopol residents are offered to determine which village to connect to high-speed mobile Internet

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Residents of Sevastopol can determine in which settlement with a population of 100 to 500 people next year high-speed mobile Internet should appear. You can make a choice before November on the public services portal at link. Voting and the subsequent connection of villages to high-speed Internet is carried out within the framework of the federal project «Information Infrastructure» of the national program «Digital Economy of the Russian Federation». Sevastopol residents can vote for one of the following settlements: the villages of Flotskoye, Oboronnoye, Pirogovka, Pavlovka, Novobobrovka, Ozernoye, Rodnikovoe, Rossoshanka, Povorotnoye, the settlement of the 1st branch of the Golden Balka.

We understand that in some villages and towns the quality of mobile communication is low or there is no connection at all, therefore, special attention is paid to the issue of connecting settlements in rural areas to high-speed Internet. I urge the Sevastopol residents to be active and vote for the village, which, in their opinion, needs to be connected to high-speed Internet in the first place , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the digital development department of Sevastopol Alexandra Osipova.

Any citizen older than 18 who is permanently registered in the region can take part in the voting.

The list of settlements with a population from 100 to 500 people for voting, posted on the public services portal, is compiled according to the data of the All-Russian Population Census 2020 of the year.
