State Duma deputy elected in Crimea

Yuri Nesterenko (from the United Russia party) won the by-elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in Crimea, in the Simferopol single-mandate constituency No. 19. According to the head of the Republican Election Commission, Mikhail Malyshev, Nesterenko scored 68.71%, 97.3 thousand people voted for him.
The remaining candidates received about ten thousand votes each. The representative of the party “A Just Russia — For Truth” Stepan Kiskin came in second place in these by-elections; he scored 7.47% (10.6 thousand votes). In third place is the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vasily Sayenko with 10.5 thousand votes (7.39%). Representative of the “Communists of Russia” Alexander Turov received 9.2 thousand votes (6.52%), LDPR candidate Dmitry Fridman — 9.17 votes (6.47%).
I congratulate the United Russia candidate Yuri Nesterenko on his landslide victory in the by-elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in the Simferopol single-mandate constituency No. 19. More than 97 thousand voters voted for Yuri Yuryevich, which is 68.71%. The turnout for the by-election was 28.31%. Residents of Alushta, Belogorsk and Bakhchisaray districts showed the greatest activity. I thank the people of Crimea for their trust in our candidate! I wish Yuri Yuryevich success in his work for the benefit of his voters, our republic and Russia— the speaker of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov was happy for his fellow party member.
According to his information, overall turnout in Crimea was about 30%, more than 11 thousand people voted remotely — through the Gosuslugi platform.
