The Chekhov House Museum in Yalta hosted the opening of the exhibition “Crimean Album. Return»

The temporary exhibition was created in collaboration with graphic artist Marina Lazareva.
With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea in the Yalta House-Museum of A.P. Chekhov, a presentation of a new exhibition project “Crimean Album. Return”, which presents the work of the graphic artist, member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Moscow Union of Artists Marina Lazareva.
At the presentation of the exhibition, the author told the guests about what inspired her to create works, and also showed a film about the process of creating engravings.
The exposition includes a whole-engraved album with landscapes of the peninsula, made in the unique mezzotint technique and supplemented with the poetry of Ivan Bunin.
The engravings presented at the exhibition were donated by the artist to the stock collection of the Crimean Literary and Artistic Memorial Museum-Reserve.
