On the 239th anniversary of the Crimean capital, a photo exhibition «Simferopol in the lens of time» by the Yurchishko dynasty of photo artists opened on Franko Boulevard.
The event was attended by the head of the administration of Simferopol Mikhail Afanasiev, as well as a photographer, the author of the exhibition Leonid Yurchishko.
Today the holiday began with the opening of a wonderful photo exhibition of the Yurchishko dynasty. Anyone can look at our Simferopol in the historical aspect, see what it was like 70 years ago, 50 years ago, compare with what it is today. And, of course, it evokes a warm feeling of nostalgia. And I am sure that these good traditions will be continued. Today we had a good idea with Leonid Petrovich — we will make a permanent exhibition in the building of the city administration— said Mikhail Afanasiev.
The exhibition presents 15 works of the twentieth century — the history of Simferopol.
