The crew of the newest ship of the Black Sea Fleet «Vsevolod Bobrov» worked out the reception on board the helicopter of naval aviation

During an exercise in the Black Sea, the crew of the newest logistic support ship Vsevolod Bobrov worked out the reception of the Ka-27PS helicopter on deck and checked the operation of all systems of the ship’s aviation complex. This was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District.

During the training events, the crews of helicopters of the naval aviation of the fleet worked out the actions for delivering cargo on board the vessel, as well as for searching at sea and rescuing members of the crew of the emergency ship. The crew of the ship checked the radar and hydroacoustic equipment, searching for sunken objects and mapping the seabed topography.

Logistic support vessel «Vsevolod Bobrov» of the project 23120 was built at the Severnaya Verf shipyard, combines the characteristics of a rescue tug and transport, is capable of transferring cargo to the shore and to ships , as well as participate in rescue operations and conduct hydrographic surveys , — reports the press service of the Southern Military District.

Earlier, the crew of the ship as part of a detachment of ships made an inter-fleet transition from the Baltic to the Black Sea Fleet. The vessel entered the Navy in August 2021 of the year.
