The governor of Sevastopol thanks everyone who took and is taking part in providing the city with water
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The problem of water supply to Sevastopol has been practically solved. There are still addresses where water is not supplied due to subjective or even emergency reasons. We are talking about Sugarloaf, SNT «Gavan», st. Gorpishchenko, Kamyshov highway, etc. But these are already isolated cases. The authorities promise a quick solution to these problems, especially since utility workers work around the clock, literally.
Yes, it was a difficult period, and now there are still problems in several places. But both utility and rescue services have been working all this time and are now working 24/7 until the entire infrastructure is fully restored.
Thanks to all the employees of the Sevastopol Vodokanal, who did everything possible to supply water to houses as soon as possible, and also organized the supply of drinking water. Water carriers made more than 600 trips. For help with additional tank trucks, I thank the Council of Ministers of Crimea and the Ministry of Defense,” said Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The head of the city also thanked the employees of the Sevastopol Rescue Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who pumped out water, helped dry the premises, together with employees of Sevprirodnadzor and the Directorate of Protected Natural Areas and Forestry, restored life-support facilities, cleared congestions caused by rising water levels. rivers, cleaned water intakes.
Special words of gratitude to our volunteers. These days they worked hand in hand with Vodokanal — they met people at water tanks, helped pour and deliver water to everyone who needed it. On my instructions, the regional branch of United Russia has been providing targeted assistance these days: party members and volunteers brought about 9 thousand liters of drinking water to 1,400 addresses.
The Vodogray company quickly set up 14 points in different areas of the city so that everyone who needs it could get drinking water from them. Thanks also to all representatives of gardening associations who provided their wells for everyone who needed help with industrial water.
And, of course, I thank all Sevastopol residents for their understanding and patience.,” summed up Mikhail Razvozhaev.
