The Tauride Chersonese Museum-Reserve began to sum up the results of the all-Russian competition for the creation of an original Christmas toy, “Christmas Angels in Chersonese,” which took place from November 10 to December 13. Organizers: Tauride Chersonese, My History Foundation, Crimean Metropolis and Sevastopol Deanery.

On the eve of the Nativity of Christ, more than three hundred angels from all over the country flocked to Chersonesos — the cradle of Orthodoxy! Among the participants are Volgograd, Kazan, Moscow, Sevastopol, Crimea. All these designer toys became real museum exhibits and decorated the holiday trees of Chersonesus. Children from the creative studio for children with disabilities “White Boat” dressed as angels performed a Christmas song and delighted the jury and guests with a dance number, creating a festive atmosphere in the hallsay the press service of the museum-reserve.

The jury is chaired by the director GBOU DO «Sevastopol Children’s School of Arts» Maria Kostevich included: head of the exhibition department of the museum-reserve «Chersonese Tauride» Pavel Khlebovsky, head of the public relations department of the museum-reserve «Chersonese Tauride» Natalya Korobitsina, priest of the St. Vladimir Cathedral in Chersonese Alexander and teacher of the art school of Sevastopol Maria Gurina.

The jury will determine the winners in three age categories: under 10 years old, from 11 to 18 years old and from 19 years old and older. There will be a total of 9 winners who will receive valuable prizes. The remaining participants will receive gratitude from the museum-reserve. We will announce the results on December 18th!
