Ticks — fight. Acaricidal treatment of parks and squares started in Simferopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Roman Filipenko, director of the municipal cultural institution «Parks of the Capital», informed about the start of anti-mite treatment in the parks and squares of Simferopol.
Starting today, acaricidal treatment begins in the parks. Work will be carried out at night so as not to disturb our visitors. Processing is carried out with chemicals that do not affect human and animal health— said Roman Filipenko.
He also added that Gagarinsky and Children’s parks will be processed first of all, after which the brigade will begin work in the parks of Trenev, the Republic, Vysotsky and the 50th anniversary of the USSR.
Three days after treatment, experts will monitor its effectiveness.
Anti-mite treatment is an annual seasonal event. It allows residents of Simferopol to walk and relax within the city without exposing themselves and their children to the risk of being bitten by ticks.
