Time to export. Crimean enterprises actively supply their products to foreign markets

Goods from the Republic of Crimea are exported to different countries of the world, thanks to government support measures. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko at the opening of the III International Forum “Time for Export”.
Crimean enterprises actively export products to foreign markets. Of course, the CIS countries, namely Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, retain leading positions in the list of the main trading partners of Crimea, while now we also see a course towards establishing business relations with the countries of the Middle East and Asia. I also note that the Republic of Turkey is among the importers of Crimean products– noted Irina Kiviko.
According to her, Crimea successfully supplies high-quality food products, wine, cosmetics, and light industry products to international markets. To develop and strengthen the export initiative of Crimean enterprises in the region, government support measures are in place. Exporters of the peninsula regularly take part in international exhibitions and business missions through the Southern Regional Export Support Center with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Crimea.
Crimean enterprises took part in international events in the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. By the end of 2023, it is planned to participate in international events in Qatar, China and the United Arab Emirates.
Irina Kiviko noted that compared to 2021-2022. export volumes have increased, although Crimean exporters have to find alternative ways to conclude foreign economic agreements with foreign partners due to certain restrictions. She thanked the Russian Export Center for its help and support in training management teams and entrepreneurs. This year, cooperation with Skolkovo began and, in the near future, the first company will begin training.
The third International Forum “Time for Export” in Alushta is held within the framework of the national projects “International Cooperation and Export” and “Small and Medium Enterprises”.
