We are recruiting volunteers for the All-Russian vote for improvement projects

The opening of registration of volunteers for voting in 2024 was announced on January 15 at the All-Russian Municipal Forum “Small Motherland — the Strength of Russia” by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, the head of the Association of Volunteer Centers and the DOBRO.RF platform.

According to the instructions of the President, a program for improving a comfortable urban environment is being implemented in Russia. In small towns, thanks to it, embankments, parks, public gardens are opening, and children’s playgrounds are being transformed. The country and its cities are becoming much more beautiful, and people are enjoying the results of the transformation of the urban environment,” said Artyom Metelev.

He also recalled that the program is being implemented by the Russian Ministry of Construction with the support of the volunteer corps of the Association of Volunteer Centers — they help organize the process, involve residents in choosing objects that need to be improved.

Artem Metelev emphasized that in addition to helping to organize the voting process, volunteers monitor the quality of implementation of the plan.

Those who are interested in the topic of urbanism and the urban environment go further, teams of urban specialists are formed, public events and discussions are held, society works together with the authorities so that these objects continue to exist. Last year, almost 100,000 volunteers took part in the project. I am sure that this year a large number of people who want their village or city to become better will show civic initiative and sign up as volunteers.,” emphasizes Artyom Metelev.

Traditionally, volunteers will work at special information points, in public spaces, as well as at public events where everyone can take part in voting.

Any Russian over 14 years of age can become a volunteer. To do this you need to register on the platform DOBRO.RF (Beautification Vote 2024).

Main selection criteria: willingness to take part in the project, sociability (ability to communicate with people, captivate, ability to clearly talk about the project and answer questions), resistance to stress.

Regional volunteer headquarters will interact with volunteers and organize their work, which will select and train the volunteer corps. In each region, volunteers will be offered regional motivational and incentive programs.

In 2021, when Yalta took part in the All-Russian electronic voting for the first time, 58 volunteers provided assistance in its implementation — twice as many as originally planned. In 2023, 52 volunteers and 10 volunteer assistants helped ensure the process.

In the whole country in 2023, the total number of volunteers who wanted to join the project exceeded 100,000 people, which is 2 times more than in 2022. Thanks to volunteers, more than 14.2 million Russians took part in the All-Russian vote for improvement projects in 2023.

In 2024, voting will traditionally take place in March-April. Measures to implement the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” by 2030 will improve the quality of the urban environment in Russia by one and a half times.
