“Bloom in Crimea!”: map and calendar of blossoms for tourists coming to the peninsula

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Crimea, they have developed a flowering map and calendar for tourists, as well as proposals for photo tours and various recreation options in the spring-summer period. The tourism industry of Crimea — hotels, sanatoriums, display sites, museums, as well as resort town administrations, ministries and departments — have launched a joint information campaign “Throw in Crimea!”

From April 8 on a single media resource Republican Tourist Portal Travel Crimea There are detailed maps with coordinates of locations and a flowering calendar, spring programs of hotels and sanatoriums, promotions, events, offers for photo tours, as well as various recreation options in Crimea and ways to comfortably get to the peninsula.

The coordinator and organizer of the project is the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.

We want to remind our guests that Crimea is a place of power. There are many meanings in this phrase, one of which is that Crimea is the heart of Russia, it always fills you with vitality, gives new incentives, and allows you to flourish and grow. Spring in Crimea means, first of all, healing, a healing climate, walks by the sea, cultural and educational tourism, concerts in caves and peach orchards, music at sunset and artisan fairs in the valleys. Using the calendar and bloom map, our guests will be able to plan their spring holiday, taking into account detailed coordinates and locations of blooms, as well as a brief description of flowers and events— Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko commented on the initiative.

In Crimea, from April to June, you can see more than 15 different blooms, which replace one another; at this time, flower balls and concerts in flowering fields, photo shoots in gardens and flower festivals are held on the peninsula. Guests and residents of Crimea can spend their spring holidays in hospitable sanatoriums, in new glamping sites on the seashore or in the mountains, in large resort complexes with developed infrastructure or small family hotels.

Travelers will be able to walk along the equipped tourist routes of the Great Crimean Trail, through the renovated tourist center of Yevpatoria, visit the tulip parade in the Nikitsky Botanical Garden and the famous royal palaces and parks. But the most important thing that is worth going to Crimea right now is the blooming gardens, fields and parks. In addition to the blooming of wild Schrenk tulips on Opuka or peonies on White Rock, you can see endless peach fields in the Bakhchisarai region and rose plantations in Alushta, cascades of wisteria in Yalta, and take part in white and pink cherry blossom festivals in the Japanese garden.

The media partners of the campaign were the Russian news agency TASS, the All-Russian state television and radio broadcasting company and the media platform “Smotrim”, the industry publication “Turdom”, the National News Service and radio JAZZ, RATA-news, as well as the Russian vacation rental booking service TVIL and the telecom operator «Wave». In addition, as part of the information campaign, there will be a tour of Crimea for representatives of state corporations, a press tour for federal media and bloggers, filming of the NTV program “Let’s Go, Let’s Eat” and an expedition of the VK Places project to the most unusual tourist places on the peninsula.
