Chekhov's Gurzuf dacha celebrated the anniversary of the creation of the first museum exposition

Dacha A.P. Chekhov and O.L. Knipper in Gurzuf, which is part of the Crimean Literary and Artistic Memorial Museum-Reserve, noted — anniversary of the creation of the first exposition.

Residents and guests of the village, as well as current and former employees who stood at the origins of the creation of the Gurzuf house-museum of the writer, came to congratulate the museum on a significant date. They talked about how the exposition was created, what ideas and plans they had, what difficulties they had to face in order to preserve the legacy of the great writer.

In honor of the museum holiday, the vocal ensemble «Dawns of Yurzuf» performed at Chekhov’s dacha in Gurzuf. At the end of the event, everyone was able to visit the author’s excursion «Behind the Blue Gate».
