In the Simferopol city park named after Yuri Gagarin, a festive event was held on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag under the motto «The Flag Unites». During the concert program three flags were unfurled: Russian, Crimean and Crimean Tatar.
As part of the celebration of the Day of the Crimean Tatar flag, a children’s entertainment program was prepared, competitions in the national wrestling «kuresh» were held and an exhibition of arts and crafts was organized. The guests of the event were pleased with the artists of the creative teams of the Republic of Crimea , — the press service of the Spiritual Spiritual Board notes.
The event was organized by the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Taurian Muftiyat) and the Council of Crimean Tatars under the Head of the Republic of Crimea with the support of the State Committee for Interethnic Relations and the House of Friendship of Peoples.
