In Sevastopol, the “miracle baker” will answer for his “drug cookies”

In Sevastopol, the police completed the investigation of the criminal case of the manufacturer of drug cookies.

The investigator of the investigative unit of the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol completed the investigation of a criminal case on charges of a 39-year-old unemployed local resident of drug trafficking. According to the police, in December last year, the defendant purchased the drug cannabis and parts of the hemp plant for personal use from unknown persons. From the purchased illegal goods, he made butter, so that later, by mixing it with food, he would bake cookies. According to the accused himself, he used such a narcotic confectionery product as a sedative— the details were reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

The unlawful activities of the attacker were stopped by the employees of the UNK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol with the power support of a special forces detachment in December last year. During the examination of the defendant’s place of residence, law enforcement officers found and seized about 13 g of cannabis, about 800 g of cannabis oil, as well as green-brown cookies weighing about 400 g, in which the experts found the drug «tetrahydrocannabinol».

Currently, the materials of the criminal case initiated under Part 3 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, sent to the prosecutor’s office for approval of the indictment and further referral to the court. The figurant is under a written undertaking not to leave and proper behavior.
