CrimeaPRESS reports:

At the presidium of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, information was announced that the Crimean producers faced the problem of selling grain. About it in the comment Interfax. South and North Caucasus» Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Yuriy Gotsanyuk

The volume of grain in the Crimea, taking into account the current year’s harvest and carry-over residues, will exceed the region’s demand by more than 2 times. To stabilize the financial position of agricultural producers, the Government of Russia provides for a number of financial support measures. In general, 343 million rubles were allocated to grain industry enterprises in 2022, and 535 million rubles are provided for this year, of which 441 million rubles have already been brought to agricultural producers— said Yuri Gotsanyuk.

According to the Prime Minister of Crimea, state support made it possible to compensate for up to 50% of the direct costs of grain production, given the market conditions formed under sanctions restrictions, as well as problems with logistics.

It should be noted that one of the significant measures was the direct reimbursement of costs for produced and sold grain in the amount of up to 2 thousand rubles per ton. With the support of the federal center, Crimean enterprises were assisted in acquiring additional rolling stock for grain transportation. In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea, together with grain traders, are working on issues to increase the purchase price of grain, optimize costs, which will stabilize the situation in the industry, provide a sufficient level of profitability for Crimean farmers— said Yuri Gotsanyuk.
