More than forty thousand mortgages were registered in Crimea last year

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Over 40,000 mortgages were registered in Crimea in 2023. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea Anna Anyukhina. The Deputy Prime Minister said that most of the registration actions were carried out on mortgages that arose by force of law, that is, secured by residential and non-residential properties, for the purchase of which loan funds were specifically taken. Last year, employees of the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of the Republic of Crimea completed almost 34,000 such transactions.

Over 6,000 more premises for various purposes are mortgaged on the basis of relevant mortgage agreements. This means that the financial obligations of the borrowers were secured by the registration of a pledge on any other real estate, including those objects that were already owned by the mortgagors.

Mortgage growth is obvious. In 2022, 28.8 thousand mortgages were registered in Crimea. Thus, the increase in corresponding registration actions for 2023 amounted to 38.9%.

Citizens are actively purchasing more than just housing with a mortgage. Residents and guests of the republic, with the help of borrowed funds, become copyright holders of parking spaces, office or retail premises, apartments, as well as free-use premisesnoted Anna Anyukhina.

According to her information, most mortgage transactions are registered on the basis of applications and documents submitted electronically. When submitting documents through the electronic services of a financial credit organization, the mortgage is registered within 24 hours.
