Residents of Yalta are reminded of the ban on recreational fishing in certain parts of the coast

In accordance with clause 51 of the Fishing Rules for the Azov-Chernomorsky fishery basin, approved by Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated January 9, 2020 No. 1, citizens are prohibited all year round to harvest (catch) aquatic biological resources in areas in front of river mouths at a distance of less than 500 m on both side of the mouth. Recreational fishing in the area of ​​the Derekoika estuary and Vodopadnaya estuary is a violation of the Federal Law “On Fishing and Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources” dated December 20, 2004 No. 166-FZ and the Fishing Rules for the Azov-Black Sea Fisheries Basin, approved by Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation dated 09.01. 2020 No. 1— noted in the press service of the administration of Yalta.

Violators may be prosecuted in accordance with applicable law.
