Sberbank intends to open new offices in Crimea in 2023

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Stanislav Kuznetsov said that the bank is considering opening several more offices in Crimea by the end of the year in addition to the existing ones in Yalta and Sevastopol:

Now we have two offices on the territory of the peninsula: in Yalta and Sevastopol. We are considering the possibility of opening several offices in the Crimea this year, the priority cities are Kerch and Simferopol, — he said in an interview at SPIEF.

Stanislav Kuznetsov noted that today Sberbank sees high interest from local entrepreneurs — more than 1,300 companies operating on the peninsula have already become clients. The bank is also expanding its loan portfolio of Crimean corporate clients – the peninsula’s businesses have been granted loans in the amount of more than 700 million rubles.

Individuals are also showing great interest, among whom deposits in rubles are popular — the total amount of liabilities of clients in Crimea is now approaching a billion rubles. At the same time, consumer loans were issued in the amount of more than 300 million rubles, mortgage loans — more than 360 million rubles.

In addition, during the first month of the bank’s operation on the peninsula, Sberbank’s clients made more than 800,000 online transfers worth over 2 billion rubles. At the same time, money transfers through bank branches in Crimea are 50-70% more in demand than in similar branches in southern Russia.
