Schoolchildren of Sevastopol will study urban history by creating games

October in Sevastopol starts the Regional competition of gaming projects «History of my city». Students from 5th to 9th grade can participate in it. The team consists of 2-3 people and a mentor (a school teacher of history, local history, Sevastopol studies or another subject).

The contestants create game projects on the history and sights of Sevastopol. All games are built on the PanoQUIZ platform. The resource has already been tested as part of the educational process in the children’s technopark «Kvantorium», 70 educational establishments from 20 cities of the country, as well as in the children’s centers «Eaglet» and «Artek». Ready-made projects of schoolchildren can be used in the lessons of history and Sevastopol studies, as well as extracurricular activities in local history, — noted in the press service of the Quantorium children’s technopark (Sevastopol).

The competition was presented at the Council for Educational Work of Schools and Colleges of Sevastopol, which was held at the center for digital education of children “IT-cube. Gagarin», and at a meeting in the children’s technopark «Kvantorium».

All guests will get acquainted with the PanoQUIZ platform, the algorithm for creating a game project and its placement on the Internet.
