Tauride Chersonesus: work schedule on holidays

Changes in the operating hours of Tauride Chersonesos during the winter holidays are as follows:

On December 31, 2023, the museum-reserve is open from 09:00 to 15:00 (visitor access to the territory ends at 14:30);

• opening hours of exposition and exhibition halls – from 09:00 to 14:00;
• Cash desk opening hours are from 09:00 to 14:30;
• Toilets are open from 09:00 to 15:00.

On December 31, believers will be able to enter the territory of the temporary temple of St. Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir from 23:45 to 01:15 (through the Eastern entrance group).

On January 1, 2024, Chersonese Tauride does not work. The exposition and exhibition halls of the museum-reserve will be closed.

For those wishing to visit the temporary temple of St. Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir on January 1, entry to the territory will be carried out through the Eastern entrance group of the museum-reserve in accordance with the schedule of services.

From January 2, 2024, the cultural institution will operate according to the following schedule:

• the territory of Tauride Chersonesus will be open to the public from 09:00 to 18:00 (admission of guests ends at 17:30);
• exhibition and exposition halls will be open from 09:00 to 17:00;
• Opening hours of the museum-reserve ticket office are from 09:00 to 17:30;
• Toilets are open from 09:00 to 18:00;
• The opening hours of the souvenir shop are from 09:00 to 17:30.

On Christmas Eve and Day, believers will be able to attend services in the temporary church of St. Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir. Passage is carried out through the Eastern entrance group of the museum-reserve:

• January 6, 2024 from 16:00 to 20:00 – for all-night vigil;
• from 22:00 to 03:00 – for the night Divine Liturgy;
• January 7, 2024 from 07:30 – for the Divine Liturgy.

Please note that the Western entrance group of the museum-reserve will be closed from 17:30 on January 6 to 09:00 on January 7, 2024.

On Christmas, you can get to the temporary temple of St. Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir through the Eastern entrance group of the museum-reserve.
