“Thank you to the Internet 2024”: Sevastopol pensioners can take part in the competition

This spring, the start of the 10th All-Russian competition of personal achievements of pensioners in studying computer literacy “Thanks to the Internet — 2024” was announced. Pensioners and older citizens (50+) are invited to participate in the competition. those who have learned to work on a computer and on the Internet, either independently or have completed specialized courses.

Based on the results of the competition, a rating of the most active regions participating in the competition will be compiled.

Competition nominations:

• “My Internet achievements”;
• “My public Internet initiative”;
• “I am an Internet star”;
• «Family Internet History»;
• Special category for teachers “My original developments”.

Competition entries will be accepted until October 24, 2024, and the results of the competition are planned to be announced in December 2024.

To take part in the competition, you must submit an application on the ABC of the Internet website in the “Competition” section and then the “Application for Participation” item, attaching your competition work in accordance with the competition nominations and two of your photographs. The winners will be determined by the authoritative Competition Committee.

Over the 9 years since 2015, more than 35 thousand pensioners from 79 regions of Russia have taken part in the competition. More than 227 participants became winners and prize-winners of the competition. All works are posted on the website azbukainterneta.ru. The best of them are published in “Zen›” on the “Thanks to the Internet” channel.

The competition is held by the Social Fund of Russia and PJSC Rostelecom, and assistance in the organization is provided by the Coordination Center for the Implementation of National Interests in the development of computer and Internet literacy of older citizens.
