There are now new parks in Inkerman

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, voting is underway on the project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, initiated by President Vladimir Putin.

Every city resident over the age of 14 can take part in the project — on the website 92.gorodsreda.ru information has been collected about spaces in each municipality of Sevastopol for which residents can vote. The winning squares will be landscaped as early as 2025. It is the votes of citizens that determine which public spaces will be updated. You can vote for space for improvement until April 30— note the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.

From Inkerman, two territories are participating in the voting this year:

  • Central Square opposite house number 14 on Yablochkova Street;
  • green zone adjacent to house No. 7A on Yablochkova Street.

The street on which both public spaces are located owes its name to Pavel Nikolaevich Yablochkov, a famous Russian electrical engineer who invented an arc lamp without a regulator, which is called an electric candle — “Yablochkov’s candle”. The scientist laid the foundation for the first practically applicable electric lighting system.

The acting head of Inkerman, Vadim Putintsev, spoke about the features of each territory.

Both public areas are located on Yablochkova Street — and both are awaiting improvement. The square opposite house No. 14 is a small but cozy space. Now there are benches there, a lot of greenery: residents love to gather there, but, of course, they are waiting for landscaped paths, more comfortable benches and more of them, so that this green corner turns into a real resting place for residents of houses nearby.

The green area near house No. 7a is even smaller, but it is also very cozy — the space is elongated, located in close proximity to the house. I think the older generation of residents will especially appreciate it, because they won’t have to walk far to relax in the fresh air. Nearby there is already a playground for sports games and exercise equipment; after the improvement, families and residents of all age categories will be able to relax here. Also very close to these spaces is music school No. 3 — it would be great if the children had somewhere to spend time before and after classesnotes Vadim Putintsev.

Residents of Inkerman believe that improving public spaces in this quiet area is a great idea, and share their impressions of the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” project.

I’m from Inkerman, I live further away, on Umrikhina Street, but I want to support the quiet and cozy area of Yablochkova Street — I’ll definitely vote this year and ask my neighbors. My granddaughter told me about this vote; I really like the idea that the residents themselves can choose what to improve — really, who knows our area better than us? I will vote for my beloved Inkerman, let us become more and more beautiful every year. Even now I am happy to walk past the ennobled Veterans Square to walk and admire the surface of the water in Inkerman Bay to the wonderfully equipped square for us for the 60th anniversary of the October Revolution. There we have kids walking, skateboarding, older ones drinking tea on the benches, and swimming for the summer — in a word, it’s nice to look at. Whole families come, the soul rejoices to see. They also built a swimming pool nearby, I also plan to go there — they transformed Inkerman for ussays local resident Elena.

Last year, under the project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, Veterans Square was landscaped in Inkerman. It has a new tiled covering of paths, which are divided into two branches to increase the walking space, video surveillance, outdoor lighting — decorative and landscape — have been installed, small architectural forms, benches, trash cans, and art objects have appeared.
