VII Festival “Eurasian Bridge” announces program

The Yalta International Film Forum will take place on October 2-6.

The Eurasian Bridge International Film Festival will be held in Yalta from October 2 to 6 for the seventh time. The film forum will feature feature and documentary programs and special screenings.

The Eurasian Bridge festival retains its international status and remains an important platform for cultural interaction between Russia and Eurasian countries. The work will be evaluated by an international jury, which includes filmmakers from different countries.— said the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea

The chairman of the jury of the gaming competition was director, screenwriter and producer Ivan Bolotnikov (Russia), also on the jury were French director, screenwriter and producer of Romanian origin Cornel Georgitsa (Romania-France), producer, director and actress Elena Cosson (Russia-France).

The documentary film competition will be judged by director Vladimir Tyulkin (chairman of the jury, Kazakhstan), director, screenwriter and producer of non-fiction films Mariam Ohanyan (Armenia), director, producer of feature and documentary films Nikolay Bem (Russia).

The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on October 2, and the closing ceremony will take place on October 6 at the Yalta Saturn IMAX cinema (starts at 16:30, entrance by invitation).

In addition, the festival program will include a retrospective for the 100th anniversary of Leonid Gaidai, during which you can see on the big screen the cult films “Caucasian Captive”, “The Long Journey”, “Business People”, “The Groom from the Other World” and others. Viewers will also be able to see a non-competitive program of short animation by VGIK students.
