A resident of Simferopol will stand trial for causing grievous bodily harm. As the investigation established, in November 2023, in the village of Mazanka, during her daughter’s wedding, the accused had a conflict with a previously unknown man, whom the Crimean woman stabbed once in the abdominal area with a folding knife.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case is sent to the court for consideration on the merits. The punishment under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation is 8 years in prison.
