A resident of Bakhchisarai paid off his alimony debt only after the vehicle was seized

CrimeaPRESS reports:

A resident of Bakhchisarai, until a certain moment, remembered that he had a minor daughter, for the support of whom he transferred to citizen Sh. — his ex-wife and mother of the child, funds in an amount significantly lower than that established by law.

However, in the future, citizen A. decided that he needed to buy a car, and his daughter’s needs could wait for some time. Thus, citizen A. accumulated a debt to his child totaling 170 thousand rubles. In turn, citizen Sh. filed a claim in court and after considering the case, citizen A. was ordered to repay the debt to the debtor in full. The debtor decided to postpone the execution of the court decision. As a result, the bailiff of the bailiff department for the Bakhchisaray district of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol initiated enforcement proceedings against citizen A. But even then, the former family of citizen A. did not receive alimony payments from him.

For untimely execution of the court decision, the bailiff of the department issued a resolution against the debtor to collect an enforcement fee in the amount of 32 thousand rubles, and also arrested the bank accounts of citizen A. and temporarily restricted his right to travel outside of Russia. However, the resident of Bakhchisarai was in no hurry to repay the existing debt. Taking into account the reluctance of citizen A. to pay the alimony debt, the bailiff of the bailiff department for the Bakhchisaray district of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol went to the debtor’s residence address in order to arrest his vehicle. During the raid, citizen A. was found at his place of residence and after which the bailiff drew up an act of seizure in relation to the car recently purchased by the debtor,” noted the department’s press service.

Citizen A. was informed that the seized vehicle would subsequently be seized by enforcement officers for the purpose of subsequent forced sale to pay off the existing alimony debt. Not wanting to part with his beloved vehicle, citizen A. found the necessary amount and paid off the alimony debt to the claimant in full, transferring the funds to the department’s deposit account.
