In Sevastopol, the first ever «Defender of the Fatherland Cup» in football ended. Eight teams took part in two age categories: under thirteen and under fifteen. The participants of the competitions were greeted by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Military-Civil Administration of the Zaporozhye Region for Infrastructure Development Alexei Lysov.

Teams from Sevastopol, Evpatoria, Simferopol and the sister city of sponsored Melitopol competed for trophies.

As a result, the Melitopol residents took the fourth place, the first, in their age category up to thirteen years, was taken by the Sevastopol CYFK team, the second place was taken by the Neapolis CYFK from Simferopol, the third place was taken by the sports school No. 3 from Sevastopol. In the age category for children born in 2008, the students of the Crimean Football Academy from Evpatoria were the strongest, the second place was taken by the players of the Sevastopol sports school No. 3, and the third place was taken by the Sevastopol Sports Youth Sports Club. The winners and prize-winners received cups from the hands of the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
