CrimeaPRESS reports:

From October 23 to November 22, 2023, a competition of volunteer youth projects in Sevastopol will be held, in which young people aged 14 to 35 years old who have projects aimed at helping people and the city, as well as authors of ideas can take part — they will help to formalize them into projects specialists from the project office of the Volunteer Support Resource Center.

The competition is held in ten categories in different areas of volunteering:

  • event-based;
  • social;
  • sports;
  • environmental;
  • cultural;
  • media volunteering;
  • patriotic;
  • medical;
  • educational;
  • volunteering in emergency situations.

We have been holding a grant competition since 2015. Starting in 2021, we are accepting applications for a separate competition of volunteer projects. Every year the guys come up with new socially useful ideas. I am sure that this year we will have new initiatives, the implementation of which will make our city better and life in it more comfortable.— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the department for youth and sports of Sevastopol Marina Slonchenko.

The winners of the competition will be determined by a commission consisting of specialists from various fields and the head of the grant project who has successfully implemented their initiative. The best projects will receive 50, 100, 150 and 200 thousand rubles. The winners will be announced in December.

To participate in the competition you need to leave an application in the automated information system «Youth of Russia«, and also submit a package of documents to the Department of Youth and Sports Affairs of Sevastopol (Repina St., 18).
