On the territory of the Greek-Scythian settlement of Kalos Limen, a rich program of the Festival of Living History «Tarkhankut reserved» was held.
The guests of the traditional project plunged into the atmosphere of Ancient Greece, entertainment and educational interactive points did not leave anyone indifferent: exhibitions of masters, fairs, tours of the ancient settlement, master classes, photo zones, quests, concerts, performances and much more. All participants of the exciting event were able not only to look at the work of reenactors and craftsmen, but also to make glass beads themselves, forge their own talisman together with a blacksmith, create their first clay vessel on a potter’s wheel and paint a gingerbread. A lot of emotions were presented to the audience by the members of the jazz band «Kefal po 220» — live music, professionalism of the performers, a variety of styles of musicians , — the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea reported.
The bright final point of the first day of the festival was the presentation of a 3D model of the Greek-Scythian settlement Kalos Limen, made by the creative team of the Kvantorium children’s technopark (Yevpatoria). In addition, the performance «Love and Wisdom of Diogenes» by the Drama Theater of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation named after P.I. B.A. Lavreneva.
