The national project supported 38 projects of Sevastopol residents in the field of tourism

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Since 2022 a new national project «Tourism and hospitality industry» has been implemented in Sevastopol. Larisa Ostapenko, head of the tourism department, spoke about how the national project supports the city’s entrepreneurs and develops tourism infrastructure live . The broadcast took place in the official group of the Government of Sevastopol in the social network VKontakte. Thus, the national project made it possible to hold grant competitions in the field of tourism. The winners were 38 projects, some of them have already been implemented in Sevastopol.

This year, several competitions were held in Sevastopol for the provision of grants in the form of subsidies for the implementation of new projects — it was necessary to come up with ideas that would help entrepreneurs, improve service and quality of services and submit an application in accordance with the procedure. The projects are different, but all of them are related to the tourism industry: from the purchase of equipment for audio guides to the construction of modular non-capital accommodation facilities. By the next season, guests and residents of the city will be able to fully appreciate the qualitatively new service, services and offers of our business , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Larisa Ostapenko.

On the beaches of Sevastopol, thanks to state support for the creation and development of beaches, a new infrastructure will appear: shady recreation areas, children’s health centers, equipment for people with limited mobility, open-air cinemas. Among the beaches that will be improved: Serebryany, Yashmovy, Soldatsky, Uchkuevka and others. A total of eight projects were supported.

This year, for the first time, a federal support measure appeared to provide grants for the construction of modular non-capital accommodation facilities. According to the head of the department, the main task that was set for those who received this measure of support was to increase the number of rooms for tourists. For the region, this is the creation of new jobs, an increase in tax revenues and the number of rooms.

As part of grant support for the creation of year-round modular non-capital accommodation facilities, the region supported five projects, thanks to which 66 jobs will be created in Sevastopol, at least 38 new accommodation facilities. New modular hotels will be built in Laspi, Balaklava, Cape Fiolent. It is important to note that additional 150 million private investments in the region will be attracted to Sevastopol, since grant support involves co-financing , — emphasizes the head of the department.

The Department of Tourism of Sevastopol is also the organizer of various projects. Among them is the organization of excursion routes around Sevastopol for people with disabilities. This year, six excursion routes around the Crimean peninsula have been organized for families with children with special needs.

We did not expect such a beautiful project for our children. Parents noted that the children felt supported and felt that they were not alone, that they too could travel, travel and enjoy their vacation. Next year we will continue to implement this program. We also conduct excursions for residents who came to us from the liberated territories: for children and adults. These are walking tours around the city, which allow you to learn the history of Sevastopol , — says Larisa Ostapenko.

Recall that live broadcasts in the group of the Government of Sevastopol in the social network «VKontakte» are held on a regular basis. On the eve of the next broadcast, everyone can leave their questions, wishes and suggestions under the announcement post.
