Residents of Sevastopol, whose income does not exceed the subsistence level, can receive up to thousand rubles for the start and development of entrepreneurial activities. The opportunity to conclude a social contract appeared among citizens last year. According to Yevgeny Pytko, Deputy Head of the Department of Social Security of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, in 2021 1 million rubles, in the 2022-m the amount increased to 39,4 million rubles. Some conditions for providing funds have also changed.
Initially, it was supposed to conclude social contracts only with novice individual entrepreneurs. However, under the restrictions associated with the pandemic, existing entrepreneurs encountered problems in conducting their activities, so the program was expanded. The social contract is now also concluded for the development of entrepreneurial activity , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the department.
She added that an individual entrepreneur who has entered into a social contract is obliged to fulfill the social adaptation program developed for him and continue to conduct his business throughout the year. At the same time, he must provide reports on the implementation of the program.
To date, 69 Sevastopol residents have signed a social contract for the development of their business. Daria Avdeeva also took advantage of the program. Thanks to the support, she launched a children’s television school in Sevastopol, where children are taught to speak correctly and take interviews, shoot and edit videos, and work in the frame. With the allocated funds, the head of the school purchased video equipment, microphones and lighting devices.
It took me three months from the beginning to receiving material assistance, and already at the end of last year a social contract was concluded and an amount of 39 thousand rubles was paid, who helped me open my own business, shared Darya Avdeeva.
Recall that poor families and citizens whose income is below the subsistence level can conclude a social contract. In addition to entrepreneurial activities, support can be obtained for the development of personal subsidiary farming, finding a job or overcoming a difficult life situation. The size and timing of the implementation of the social contract depend on the chosen direction.
