The social fund of Sevastopol in February will begin to provide a special social benefit to health workers

The branch of the Social Fund of Russia in Sevastopol in February will begin to provide a special social payment to medical workers, after health organizations form registers of specialists eligible for such support.

The new payment introduced by by the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, from January 2023 of the year, was put on medical employees of primary health care, central district, district and district hospitals, as well as those employed at stations and in emergency departments. The amount of the payment will be from 4.5 thousand to 18, 5 thousand rubles, depending on the category of medical workers and the type of medical organization.

The payment operator is the Social Fund of Russia, while the funds will be provided based on the data of medical organizations. At the end of each month, they are required to form an electronic register of employees eligible to receive support, and transfer this information to the Social Fund. In the register, along with information about the employee, the amount of the assigned additional payment and the data on which it is calculated are also indicated.

Health workers do not need to do anything to receive a new payment — the funds will be provided automatically. The Sevastopol branch of the Social Fund will transfer the payment within 7 working days after the medical organization forms and submits a register of employees to the fund. The first enrollments for January will be received by doctors at the end of February. The funds will be transferred to an account, the details of which will also be provided to the branch of the Social Fund by the medical organization.

The new special social payment for medical workers is financed from the funds of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, transferred to the Social Fund as interbudgetary transfers.
