“Growth Point” education centers will open in 72 Crimean schools

CrimeaPRESS reports:

“Growth Point” education centers will open in 72 schools in the Republic of Crimea by the fall of this year thanks to the implementation of the “Education” national project. In schools participating in the project, new classrooms will appear, equipped with modern laboratory equipment, and workplaces and media zones will also be created.

Not only students of the schools where they will open, but also students of nearby educational institutions will be able to attend classes in such centers. The renovated premises will become a multifunctional space for the development, education and training of children— reported the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Crimea.

Educational institutions will be supplied with new printers, scanners, laptops, digital laboratories in chemistry, biology and physics, and educational kits for studying robotic systems. Such equipment will be installed in schools in the cities of Alushta, Armyansk, Belogorsk, Dzhankoy, Evpatoria, Krasnoperekopsk, Saki, Simferopol, Sudak, Feodosia, Yalta, as well as in Bakhchisarai, Belogorsk, Dzhankoy, Kirov, Krasnogvardeisky, Krasnoperekopsk, Leninsky, Pervomaisky, Saki, Simferopol , Sovetsky and Black Sea regions.

“Growth Point” centers ensure the introduction of new technologies and teaching methods in basic and additional general education programs. This allows schoolchildren to move to a higher level of mastering physics, chemistry and biology. Thanks to this, children from rural areas and small towns will be able to receive high-quality general education that meets modern standards.

During 2019–2023, during the implementation of the national project, 159 “Growth Point” centers were created in the region. Also, by the end of 2024, new modern classes will open in 231 schools in the republic.
