Officials in Sevastopol urge to get vaccinated against influenza

There is a possibility of infection with swine flu in Sevastopol.

There is a problem with the flu in the country now — the swine flu 2009 of the year has come. Since we had a fairly strong laboratory in the infectious diseases hospital on behalf of the governor, we are now sowing everything — there are cases of influenza in the city. The flu is severe, and there are even deaths across the country , — the press service of Vice-Governor Alexander Kulagin quotes.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, over the past two weeks, 24 cases of influenza have been registered in Sevastopol, including 2 cases of influenza B and 22 influenza A , of which 12 cases A (H1N1) Swine2009 — swine flu. 95% of cases are not vaccinated against influenza.

According to the vice-governor, a meeting of the sanitary and anti-epidemic commission was held, and from December 6, a mask regime was introduced in all medical institutions, visits were limited, and disinfection measures were strengthened.

It is very important for Sevastopol residents today to take maximum care of their health, not to avoid wearing masks, especially in public transport and crowded places, and to use antiseptics. This is especially true for those who belong to the risk group: persons older than 65, pregnant women and children , the vice-governor emphasized.

According to him, the rate of vaccination in the city remains quite high. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev instructed to continue the vaccination campaign.
