Over 170 tons of products were sold at the last New Year's fairs in Simferopol

At the last New Year’s fairs, residents and guests of the Crimean capital purchased more 170 tons of products. The events were organized in Simferopol by the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture.

Many people came to our agricultural fairs with their whole families, returned home with a lot of purchases and a good, festive mood. Products were purchased both for the New Year’s table and for replenishing winter stocks. Let me remind you that in December, agricultural fairs were held at our permanent locations — the streets: Sevastopolskaya, Kecskemetskaya / Bela Kuna and Kyiv. For the convenience of residents of remote areas of the city, additional trading floors were opened on Rocketnaya Street and in the Kamenka microdistrict, on Crimean Spring Street , — said the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrey Savchuk.

According to him, the popularity of such events among the population is due to the highest quality of products grown in the Crimean fields, farms and gardens, as well as an acceptable price from the manufacturer. On average, the cost of Crimean products was below the market by 15-20%.

In total, more than 16 thousand fair events have been held in Crimea since the beginning 2022 of the year, of which more 13 thousand — agricultural fairs. The volume of sold agricultural products amounted to 23, 2 thousand tons.
