Pensioners and employees of the prosecutor's office of Sevastopol visited the ship-museum «Sharp-witted»

CrimeaPRESS reports:

As part of the work of the prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol on state-patriotic education, on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, an excursion of pensioners and prosecutors to the ship-museum «Sharp-witted» took place.

It was attended by the deputy prosecutor of the city of Sevastopol Anatoly Abramenko, pensioners of the department Vladimir Dikunov, Anatoly Yakovlev, Nikolai Zhigalov, Larisa Makhinya, prosecutor of the department for supervision of the observance of the rights of entrepreneurs of the department for supervision of the execution of federal legislation of the prosecutor’s office of the city Kristina Zakharova and young specialists of the prosecutor’s office Maximian Kachan and Anastasia Boytsova. The patrol ship of the modernized project 01090 «Sharp-witted» was launched in 1967. It was part of the 30th division of surface ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the USSR Navy, and since 1991 — the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy. For the specific high sound of gas turbines, ships of this type were called «singing frigates.» Until August 2020, «Sharp-witted» was the last «singing frigate», the oldest warship in the Russian Navy. It served for more than 50 years and only in 2020 stood on the «eternal» parking lot in the South Bay of Sevastopol— noted in the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.

The guests got acquainted with the history of the ship’s service, visited the wardroom, the cockpit, examined the equipment. Work on state-patriotic education in the team of the prosecutor’s office of the city of Sevastopol will be continued.
