A twenty-year-old young lady in the Bakhchisarai district discredited the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Will pay a fine

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The Bakhchisarai District Court of the Republic of Crimea brought a twenty-year-old local resident to administrative responsibility for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The court sentenced her to an administrative fine of 50,000 rubles.

As it became known, on March 01, 2023, at 21:00, a resident of the Bakhchisaray district in one of the social networks on her personal page posted a video for an unlimited circle of people on which she performed the Anthem of Ukraine “Ukraine has not yet died”, thereby carrying out public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintain international peace and security in the framework of the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. Thus, she committed an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. At the hearing, the girl admitted her guilt in full, repented of her deed— noted in the press service of the Bakhchisarai district court.

The court considered that the guilt of the offender in committing an administrative offense was proven and her actions were subject to qualification under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, as public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, to maintain international peace and security.

Thus, the court considered it necessary to impose an administrative penalty on her in the form of a maximum administrative fine provided for by the sanction of Article 1, Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which would be an appropriate measure of responsibility in order to prevent further similar administrative offenses.
