All «hands on work» to clean up the cities and towns of Crimea must be completed by June 1

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Who will personally check? Who will receive reprimands?

The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov held a working meeting on problematic issues of municipalities. During the discussion of the issues of improvement and cleaning of cities and towns of Crimea, the Head of the Republic focused on the fact that the heads of administrations had to personally go around their municipalities and manually allocate territories, assign responsible persons to them for systematic cleaning after the completion of emergency work. This order must be completed by June 1st.

Aksenov clarified that municipalities can hire private contractors for cleaning, but it is much cheaper to organize this work on their own.

In addition, the Head of the Republic of Crimea instructed to standardize the cleaning standards for adjacent areas.

It is necessary to work with residents of the private sector, to come to a single standard for the maintenance of adjacent territories throughout the republic. The administration of the municipality cannot shift its area of responsibility to the people. Until the head of the administration personally comes out and evens out the situation, there will be no result.— said the Head of the Republic.

Sergey Aksyonov also announced that it was decided to reprimand Sergey Donets, the Minister of Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Crimea, and also send a letter to the chairman of the city council of Feodosia about considering at the session the issue of reprimanding the head of the city administration Vladimir Popenkov.
