On the eve of the New Year, the action of the Crimean Children’s Hospice «Children are not just a sound» to collect gifts for seriously ill children of Crimea ended. On the site everyone could choose a gift for a child or translate part of funds for it. Musicians and performers recorded videos in support of the action.
We thank everyone who took part in our flash mob, who shared the warmth of their hearts and gave joy to our children. A few days ago, we had a few gifts left uncovered, but thanks to the support of the media and caring people, all children will receive for the New Year what they dreamed of , — said Anna Ryzhkova, Executive Director of the Crimean Children’s Hospice.
However, there is an opportunity to do one more good deed before the New Year — to give one or more hours of care for orphans who will celebrate the holiday in the palliative department of the Republican Children’s Hospital.
The department is a joint project of the hospice and the hospital. The hospice pays for 24-hour babysitting. One hour of care costs 145 rubles. Babysitters in shifts, day and night, monitor seriously ill orphans, carry out hygiene procedures, feed, comfortably put them to bed, and also read fairy tales, sing songs, play, as a mother would do, which is why the project of the Crimean Children’s Hospice was called “Instead of Mom” Support the project “ Instead of Mom» is available on the crowdfunding platform
Everyone can choose the number of hours of care for orphans in the hospital and pay for them, as well as receive a certificate of gratitude to your personal mail, which you can print or post on your social networks.
