Ecotechnopark — a waste processing complex will be built in the Belogorsky district of Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
An eco-technopark for sorting and processing waste with a capacity of 500,000 tons per year will be built in the Belogorsky district of Crimea under the Ecology national project. According to the Main Directorate for the Implementation of National Projects, the creation of an ecotechnopark will ensure the availability of facilities for the placement, processing and disposal of municipal solid waste, as well as the achievement of the targets of the regional project «Integrated System for the Management of Municipal Solid Waste». This facility is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2024. The total cost of the project is over 4 billion rubles.
To date, the development of pits for the main sub-objects of the waste sorting and administrative complex, the boiler house, as well as the composting site has been completed. The contractor’s team began replacing individual sections of soil and laying sandy foundations for foundations, as well as harvesting reinforcing elements of the foundation frame.
In the near future, the working team is planning to work on the arrangement of concrete preparations for the foundation. The supply and installation of metal structures, embedded parts and welded frames, storage, fire tanks and equipment for composting organic waste and other materials continues. A rough vertical leveling of the site has been completed in separate sections and work is ongoing as provided for in the design documentation.— reported in the Main Directorate.
Recall that the construction of ecotechnoparks this year is being carried out in the Saki and Belogorsk districts, the contractor for which is the Russian Environmental Operator.
A feature of ecotechnoparks is its completely waste-free production due to a closed production cycle, when waste from one stage will be a raw material for others. The plant will use modern equipment, as well as advanced multi-level security systems. The new facilities will rid the region of illegal landfills and create more than 1,000 jobs in the region.
The regional project «Clean Country» of the national project «Ecology» is aimed at the reclamation of the most dangerous objects of accumulated environmental damage and the elimination of unauthorized dumps within the boundaries of cities. It is assumed that the results of the project implementation will significantly improve the environmental situation in the country and the quality of life of the population.
