All schools in Simferopol take part in the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren. It is held annually in all subjects. Competitions consist of four stages: school, municipal, regional and final, that is, All-Russian. Anyone can participate in the school stage, starting from the fifth grade. To get to each next level, you need to overcome the threshold of points, which is set by the organizers of the Olympiad.
The municipal stage is provided for students from grades 7 to 11, and only pupils of grades 9-11 participate in the regional and final stages.
After passing the municipal stage with the winners, an in-depth study of the subject is carried out for 2-3 months as a preparation for the remaining stages. Winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren receive benefits upon admission: from additional points for the Unified State Examination or portfolio to enrollment without exams in specialized universities.
