Evpatoria received guests — «Big tour» in a small town
CrimeaPRESS reports:
About a thousand Crimean spectators were able to attend the performances of the Theater at the Narva Gates in Evpatoria. Thanks to the «Big Tours» program, the audience gets acquainted with the best productions of Russian and Russian foreign theaters, with concert programs of outstanding domestic groups. The Crimean State Theater for Young Spectators participates in the program for the fourth time. This year, a theater from St. Petersburg showed its performances at the site of the Crimean Youth Theater.
Artur Arnet, Deputy Artistic Director of the Narva Gate Theatre:
We participated in the program once, but we have not yet had an exchange tour. The guys and I wanted to go to Yevpatoria for a long time, we applied for participation in the “Big Tour”, everything was approved for us, but then the trip did not take place due to the pandemic. We’ve been lucky this year.
The Children’s Drama Theater at the Narva Gates brought three performances to Evpatoria: Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, The Kid and Carlson, and Fyodor the Blacksmith and Evil Spirits. Each performance is a full house, the Crimean audience warmly welcomed the guests and saw them off with a long standing ovation.
Artistic Director of the Crimean Youth Theater Andrey Permyakov:
This is an exchange tour of two friendly theaters. “Theater at the Narva Gates” are our old friends, they have repeatedly been participants in our International Festival “Earth. Theater. Children.», they are Laureates of the Oleg Permyakov Prize in the field of theatrical art. Dear to our hearts people and great professionals. Wonderful storytellers, because each of their performances is an amazing journey.
As part of the direction to support children’s and youth theaters of the «Big Tours», the Crimean Youth Theater will pay a return visit to St. Petersburg in September.
The program «Big Tours» is organized by FGBUK ROSCONCERT according to the All-Russian tour and concert plan of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
