Five hectares of field burnt out in Simferopol district

On March 5, at 13:56, the Crisis Management Center received a message about the fire of dry vegetation outside the village of Shkolnoe (in the Simferopol region). Fire and rescue units of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea were immediately sent to the scene.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that dry vegetation had ignited. To eliminate the fire, agricultural machinery from farms in the Simferopol region was involved. A fire fighting headquarters was set up on the spot. Measures were taken to create mineralized bands. There was no threat of fire passing to settlements. The area of the fire was 5 hectares— reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
There were no reports of dead or injured. The shake was extinguished in the evening — at 19:34. In total, 41 people and 13 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the fire from the RSChS, from the Russian Emergencies Ministry: 28 people and 6 pieces of equipment.
